Kia ora! Welcome to Harvey Weddings. In the summer of 2018 I picked up a camera to document my friends as we ‘grew up’, planting the seed of a deep passion for capturing moments in time. We’ve spent many late nights looking over photos and videos of our shared moments, priceless.
If your life is anything like mine, it’s been a roller coast of ups and downs, ebbs and flows, and this dance of life has ultimately led you here.
I’ll keep it brief, it’s your moment right now and that’s what I want to shine the light on. My name is Matthew, I love my camera, but mostly I love experiencing emotion and the connection between people. My camera allows me to document these moments to be looked back on in years to come and shared with others. Over the years I’ve captured countless smiles, tears, laughter and joy.
When it comes to your day, I’m pretty laid back, and love to just float around like a fly on the wall. After all, its your day, not mine. I love capturing candid moments, the spaces in between and the connection between you and your loved ones.
